 tri-Axial Charge Output:

The DJB piezo-electric accelerometers

  • DJB is patentor of the “konic” accelerometer, based on a piezo-electric element in the form of a truncated hollow cone. This method offers advantages such as a better reliability, and gives a higher sensitivity in a smaller unit when compared with a compressive type.

  • Piezo-ceramic shear plate technology is also now used since offering even higher miniaturisation advantages, and sensitivity enhancement by virtue of parallel plate construction.

  • Piezo-tronic accelerometers integrate charge/voltage converter and are energised from a constant current source, they generate a low impedance, noise immune voltage output.

  • Industrial, high temperature, pressure tested and Intrinsically safe accelerometers are available.

  • These transducers can be periodically checked by a DJB recalibration service.
