PS035/PS070 PRESSURE MONITOR
|
|
GENERAL
Models PS035 and PS070 are high-accuracy pressure monitors featuring 16 bit A/D
converters to provide high performance at low cost. The electronics in these systems allows for automatic temperature corrections
over the working range to eliminate drift problems associated with unstable temperature environments.
The PS035 has an accuracy of ±0.035% Full Scale, and the PS070
has an accuracy of ±0.07% Full Scale. |

APPLICATIONS
The PS035 and PS070 are available in Gage, Absolute, Differential, Barometric and Air Data Ranges. All Absolute units are provided with a "Tare" switch that will re-reference the unit to zero instead of absolute or barometric pressure. This feature allows for the same unit to be used as a gage or absolute device.
The calibration look-up table is contained on a single internal EEPROM that can be reprogrammed with the use of a computer or terminal with an RS-232C interface. The built-in Alphanumeric display provides for easy to follow, step-by-step calibration instructions. Optional features include several Input/Output interfaces, including RS-232C (standard),
RS-422, and RS-485. The baud rate can be set from 300 to 9600 bps by the user in a manner similar to the recalibration procedure.
By using the UNITS key on the front panel, the user can select from a menu of 21 different engineering units to be displayed. The unit selected is shown on the alphanumeric display to the right of the pressure reading.
Operating Power of 12VDC is supplied by an external AC/DC converter. Available ratings for these converters are 100 VAC at 50 Hz, 120 VAC at 60 Hz, and 220 VAC at 50 Hz. Unless otherwise specified, these units are shipped with 120 VAC 60 Hz power converters as standard equipment.
All units are supplied with a dual-purpose handle. In addition to being used to carry the unit, the handle can be used to adjust the angle and height of the unit when it is placed on a table or bench. This allows the user to adjust the angle of the readout to the most desirable position.
The high density ABS plastic molded case provides for a sturdy, yet light weight package.
