Model MP101 is a constant current excited transducer recommended for high accuracy applications where the input resistance to the transducer may vary due to temperature induced line resistance changes as occurs in long cable lengths. The MP101 automatically corrects for such changes.
With a diameter of only
0.375 inches, the transducer can easily be installed in holes of
a half inch in diameter. Transducers are available with
cable lengths up to 1000 feet; greater lengths are possible through
splicing.
This product is available
with an internal hermetic seal that dramatically improves reliability
and accuracy. At the cable exit, titanium armor is provided to improve
cable pull strength while retaining a liquid seal. A moisture insulator
located near the end of the cable is available and eliminates inter-conductor
condensation.
